 Kris Murphy has been active in the Futures and Options markets for the last 8 years. He brings his experience as a licensed commodities broker and trader to the classroom to expose these markets for what they are.......a blast! Make no mistake, these markets are not to be taken lightly, but by mixing a sense of humor with his real life experiences, Kris is able to shed some light and break down some of the misconceived rumors that tend to scare traders away from Futures and Options.
Having graduated from U.C. Santa Barbara with a B.S. degree in Bio-Psychology, Kris uses a unique analytical style that students can benefit from. He entered the world of commodity trading as a licensed broker with Refco and quickly learned how valuable risk management strategies truly are in fast moving markets. It is these strategies that he attributes with getting him safely through countless limit moves, not to mention 9/11, with minimal damage. He takes great pleasure in seeing the light bulb go on when discussing these strategies with students.
Kris has worked with Online Trading Academy in developing and teaching multiple courses and loves the truthful, straight-forward, education first, "if it doesn't benefit our students then we don't want it" approach that makes Online Trading Academy successful.
