"Wow, just read your article about 'Objective Filter" and wanted to write, thanking you. I've written before asking about supply and demand as you'd referenced in a prior article. I just wasn't seeing it. You had suggested I go back and read some of your other articles, which I did but it just wasn't clear until now. I found your latest to be a really powerful article and was a tremendous help for me. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I look forward to many more great works from you."

Steve M., December 2007

"I am a continuous reader of your full-of-trading-wisdom articles. I usually don't move your articles from my INBOX to a folder (named after you) until I read it at least three times. I've reviewed and altered most of my trading techniques and methods after reading your articles. Great stuff! Keep up the good work!"

Thamir A., Saudi Arabia, December 2007

Gabe Velazquez

Gabe got his start in the markets as a broker trainee for Paine Webber, a mere 3 months before the market crash of 1987. He witnessed the gut wrenching fear of investors during that time period and the wild speculative euphoria of the late 90's. That experience brought to light the importance risk management plays in trading and investing. In fact, it's greatly influenced the way he trades today.

He spent 15 years as a stock and commodities broker, conducting technical analysis seminars through-out Southern California. After many years of managing other people's money, Gabe now concentrates full time on trading his own portfolio and teaching. Students will benefit from his first hand experience of daily involvement in the market. He brings with him an acute awareness and understanding of how the markets really work. Articulating this knowledge clearly, succinctly, and with enthusiasm is something students can appreciate. This gift for communicating was honed through many years of public speaking, and can be seen in his classroom teaching and in his weekly E-mini newsletter.

Comments from newsletter readers:

"I always make it a point to read all your articles as I find them very educational and practical. There are so many so called 'Gurus' who make wild promises on turning anyone into a millionaire with a year, it is rather refreshing to read your down to earth articles. There should be some kind of advertising code to prevent this type of advertising from these 'gurus'. Please keep up your good work on Q & A sessions. Best Regards."

Retnam (Singapore), January 2008

Reginald C., July 2008

"I was privileged to hear your presentation on Elliot Wave, and it was probably the best presentation I have ever heard. Believe me I have heard a few, often claptrap, both in UK and US. I should state that you expounded my own views, so I would think it was good, wouldn't I, but seriously the depth of analysis, thinking, and considered conclusions, came as a very welcome change from the often paraded opinions of those who can't seem to think anything other than the next bull market is here now, everything must be alright. I find such shallow thinking so annoying, so your presentation was a delight. I wish you well with your endeavors in London in the future."

John W., December 2003

"Hello John,
I was going through my inbox this afternoon, reviewing accumulated, old and unread e-mails, and found the one from Online Trading Academy on October 21 that described and linked to your October 18 interview with Jim Puplava. I've just finished listening to the interview in its entirety. I "tuned in" to hear your comments on Trading vs. Investing, and found them quite helpful. However, I was particularly struck by your commentary and perspective on the markets. I wanted to say that I admire your insight into, and grasp of, broad issues that bear on the markets. Some of your thoughts were similar to my own, but you added more information to those issues and introduced others that I found quite enlightening. Thank you for that! Given the markets' continued momentum advance since mid-October, your perspective is as fresh now as when it was first published."
